 Profile

After extended periods playing in Melbourne club cricket and then in the Australian Capital Territory, Mark Divin finally found a way into state cricket when he settled in Tasmania. He headed south in 2006-07 with no contract but had a strong club season for Kingborough, scoring 128 not out in their winning final and earning a state deal for 2007-08. An allrounder who combines lower-order hitting with right-arm medium-pace bowling, Divin made his debut for Tasmania in the opening FR Cup match against Queensland. He showed his potential with a wicket third ball, a sliding catch in the outfield and 41 from 39 balls, including three sixes.
