Profile
Thompson is a legspinner who has played six Lancashire 2nd
XI matches but has yet to break into the usually strong first team. He
represented Ireland at U-17 level and has an impressive record in ODI U-19
matches. In his seven matches to date, he has taken 12 wickets at an average
of just over 18. He has only failed to take a wicket in one match, against
Pakistan in which he only bowled two overs, and has a best of 5 for 49
