Rikki Wessels is the son of the former Australia and South Africa player and former Northants coach Kepler Wessels. He is an extremely talented gloveman who also possesses a decent range of strokes. Northamptonshire have high hopes for him, and he scored his maiden first-class century for them in 2005 against Somerset.
