Profile
Haroon Lorgat was appointed as the third CEO of the ICC in April 2008, after his countryman Imtiaz Patel turned down the offer. Lorgat is an executive director of Kapela Investments Holdings, an investment company with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg. He was an allounder for Eastern Province and Transvaal and managed 2,813 runs and 191 wickets in his first-class career. After his retirement he served the board in different capacities, most notably as national selector from 2001 to 2003. He went on to chair that panel from 2004 to 2007. Cricinfo staff (April 2008)
