Pro40 round-up Surrey record first win August 12, 2007
Division Two The Pro40 continued to suffer from bad weather, with much of Sunday's play obliterated. Surrey, though, just about dodged the rain to beat Derbyshire at The Oval in the only match possible. But even that was settled by the Duckworth-Lewis method. Derbyshire reached 227 for 7 in an innings reduced to 35 overs, Phil Weston topscoring with 72. Surrey then managed to get to 102 for 2 in the 13 overs possible before the rain came. Scott Newman blasted 62 from 33 balls, in an opening stand of 96 with James Benning, who made an unbeaten 35. They are now off the bottom of the table. Leicestershire reached 60 for 2 against Yorkshire at Grace Road before their match was washed out.
Division One In the only game slated for Division One, Warwickshire and Sussex didn't get underway at all at Edgbaston.
