Twenty20 is all about spectacle. Chris Lewis only retired in 2000, and is younger than some current players (Hick ?) who are still full county pro's. Those over 30's (and over 40's) who watch will like the idea of seeing if Lewis can play with freedom (Like Hick, Malcom, and Tufnell he was hamstrung by some inept man management in the early 90's - when "If you weren't quite what 't Yorkshiiiire man liked - you wuz ow t the team" .. Regardless if you were the best or not (The idea that a managers job might be to bring the best out of disparate personalities seemed totally lost on Mr Illingworth). A colourful character, my wife reckons he's a looker, a talented cricketer...who only gets paid if her performs. What's not to like ?
