Adam Shantry is an allrounder who made his debut for Northamptonshire in 2003. He moved to Warwickshire in 2005 in search of regular cricket but has found his chances limited - although he did take 5 for 49 against West Indies A on his first-team debut in 2006 - and he was released at the end of 2007. Glamorgan swooped for his services and signed him on a two-year contract. His father Brian played for Gloucestershire and Shropshire.
