The HKCA and the Hong Kong Coaching Committee hope to make this an annual function to give thanks to the coaches who put in a lot of effort to continue to build interest in the game amongst children and develop junior talent to play international cricket for Hong Kong.

The 2006 award winners are:

• Coach of the Year: Najeeb Amar
• Level 2 Coaching Award: Afzaal Haider
• Level 1 Coaching Award: Ghulam Saqlain
• Coaching Excellence Awards for School Development Programme: Jawaid Iqbal, Lama Sher, Munir Hussain
• Coaching Excellence Awards for Cricket Centre: Janet Cheung, Nasir Hameed, William Chan

  HKCA Coaching Awards 2006

  An awards night for HK Cricket Coaches was held on 27th March 2007 at the India Club. There were several awards presented including the HKCA Coach of the Year.
