Profile
Nicholaas Scholtz is a promising allrounder who bowls tidy leg-spin and
bats in the lower order. He advanced through the youth system and has
established himself in the senior side aged 20.
He was vice-captain of the Under-19 squad at the 2006 World Cup in Sri
Lanka, starring with 4 for 25 in the team's win against Scotland, and
finishing with seven wickets at 22.85 and an economy rate under 4.5. Batting
in the middle-order was less productive as he managed just 13 runs in four
innings.
