Profile
Gordon Goudie does not stem from a cricketing family, only becoming
interested in the game through playing Kwik cricket at school. He is a
right-arm medium-fast bowler who has taken six wickets in his six Under-19
ODI's to date.
He has performed admirably at previous representative tournaments; being
named player of the tournament at the European U17 Championships in Denmark in 2003 and was selected in the 'dream team' for ICC European U19 World Cup
qualifying in Holland. He has recently signed a professional contract with
Middlesex for whom he has played 2nd XI cricket, and will be hoping to
impress his employers with a commanding performance in the upcoming U19
World Cup in Sri Lanka. Chris Oliver January 2006
