Profile
Tanmay Srivastava is a left-hand batsman who made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh against Rest of India in the 2006-07 Irani Trophy. He also scored a century in the 2008 Ranji Trophy final and his strong performances with the bat on the Under-19 tour to South Africa has made him a key player in India's squad for the U-19 World Cup in Malaysia in 2008. He did not disappoint, finishing as the tournament's top scorer with 262 runs, including a vital 43 in India's victory in the final against South Africa. Srivastava admires Rahul Dravid for his batting skills and his ability to lead from the front. Cricinfo staff February 2008
