PCB holds trials for Under-19 tour to Sri Lanka

Trials for the selection of Pakistan Under-19 team for next month's tour to Sri Lanka will be held between July 9 and 11. The national selection committee headed by Aamer Sohail with Shafiq Ahmed, Farrukh Zaman, Shoaib Mohammad and Saleem Yousuf as its members will conduct the trials at three different centres.

The trials at Karachi will be held on Wednesday at the National Stadium at 0900 hours. The following players from Karachi, Hyderabad and Quetta regions have been invited to attend the trials:

Mohammad Faheem, Khalid Latif, Khurram Manzoor, Asadullah Sumeri, Faraz Patel, Fawad Alam, Azam Hussain, Humayun Alamgir, Asif Hameed, Adeel Malik, Sharif Asadullah, Tabish Khan, Naveed Khan (Karachi region), Aqeel Anjum, Sikander Ali, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Jamshaid Baig, Ghulam Yasin, Shoaib Laghari, Agha Tahir (Hyderabad region), Umar Liaquat, Babar Ali, Sanaullah, Jalat Khan, Shujha Khan, Arun Lal, Zahoor Ahmad (Quetta region).

The trials at Rawalpindi will be held on Thursday at the KRL Stadium at 0900 hours. The following players from Peshawar and Rawalpindi regions have been invited to attend the trials:

Afaq Raheem, Danish Hanif, Shahzad Ahmad, Waqas Zafar, Mohammad Altaf, Yasir Ali, Hasan Bhatti, Umar Khaliq, Jamal Anwar, Usman Saeed, Mohammad Ibraheem, Mohammad Ramazan, Abdul Manan, Fayyaz Ahmad, Rizwan Akbar, Asad Ali, Khalid Mushtaq, Asim Aqeel Rana (Rawalpindi region), Mohammad Naeem, Yasir Arafat, Riaz Qail, Shah Faisal, Sheheryar Khan, Mohammad Ali, Yasir Shah, Nawaz Ahmad, Akbar Badshah, Farhan Habib, Riaz Afridi, Nasir Ahmad, Mohammad Gulraiz, Hidayatullah, Bilal Khan (Peshawar region).

The trials at Lahore will be held on Friday at the Gaddafi Stadium at 0900 hours. The following players from Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan regions have been invited to attend the trials:

Adnan Raza, Salman Qadir, Jahangir Mirza, Wahab Riaz, Zeeshan Safeer, Raza Ali Dar, Salman Akbar Butt, Jamshed Ahmad, Adnan Butt, Atif Ijaz, Nasir Jamshed, Asim Naseer, Sohail Ahmad, Asif Ijaz, Adnan Akmal (Lahore region), Shahid Yousuf, Bilal Azmat, Aamir Yousuf, Shahid Siddique, Adnan Zaheer, Mohammad Yasin, Aamir Gulzar, Usman Mushtaq, Ali Imran Pasha, Mohammad Salman, Salman Ali, Javed Hussain, Bilal Butt, Saad Butt (Faisalabad region), Yasir Arafat, Shoaib Maqsood, Sajjad Hussain, Salman Muzammil, Jabbar Ali, Mohsin Sharif, Qaiser Shahzad, Abbas Ali, Naveed Alam (Multan region).

The Pakistan Under-19 team will play two three-dayers, three one-dayers and a two-day tour opener between August 10 and 29.
