Wisden obituary
George Dickinson played for New Zealand in the first two Tests against Harold Gilligan's side in 1929-30. A genuinely fast bowler, he took in these five wickets for 134 runs and had the distinction of dismissing Woolley twice. His only other Test appearance was two years later v South Africa, when he took three for 111. He played for Otago.
