A right-hand opening batsman and brother of test
wicket keeper Ashraf Ali, he represented Pakistan in a few ODIs.
Made his test debut against the England in 1983-84. He has the
distinction of being the first Pakistani to carry his bat in a
one day international when he was 75 not out.
