Pressures of role take toll Cantrell steps down as Netherlands coach April 7, 2007 Peter Cantrell, the Netherlands coach, has stepped down despite the national board wanting him to remain in charge. Cantrell's contract effectively expired when Netherlands were knocked out of the World Cup last month, and he explained that he had reached the decision for personal reasons.
