Ian Chappell reckons Australia have batted themselves to safety, and now India will have to play aggressively on the final day to keep the Australians at bay

Mostly grafting...pretty dismal. They were lucky to have survived Sharma on many, many occassions. Posted by SMMC on January 27 2008, 19:00 PM GMT I wish Michael Clarke had held on to the regulation catch at slip from Virender Sehwag.he has been dropping catches with alarmimg regularity --a caught and bowled,one at gully,one more at slip. Catches win matches,and this is not the brilliant fielder Michael Clarke we know. Australia neds to focus on its slip cordon--Hayden at first slip,Ponting at second slip,Mike Hussey at third slip,Michael Clarke at gully. I hope Australia does a repeat of the Ashes Test at Adelaide lat year. Posted by popcorn on January 27 2008, 15:04 PM GMT i think that aussies have tried to be a little smart here. as we all know that they have played with a runrate that do never ever suited their playing style. once the kind of start the openers provided they could have easily played in their format of game but they are actually saving their faces by winning the series than going for a win. this is what the need of the moment too because after the sydney drama and the perth loss they were nailed badly in the whole world.this series had won by the pointing's side but the heart of a real cricket lover and a true man by the indians. concluding with the fact that australia have won the series but india have shown that they are not the loosers.
